Science is always changing. Facts are only facts until a new observation contradicts them. People make new discoveries constantly and our world view changes with each one. A great way to learn about the discoveries being made right now is to read science magazines. In this assignment you will:

• Read a magazine article about a current topic in science
• Write a summary of that article, relating the important details
• Comment on the article:
  • How does the science in the article affect everyday life?
  • How does the article change the way that we see the world?
  • Was the article interesting? Well-written?

Throughout your review of the magazine article give examples and explain things in a way that a reader who has not read the article can understand. Your review should be at least one full page, assuming that you have average or small handwriting. If you write large, your review will probably fill both sides of one piece of paper. It’s OK if your review is longer than this minimum but keep your writing brief and to the point.
